K Ration corrugated cardboard packing box.
The corrugated cardboard packing boxes were used throughout the war period, mainly for domestic packing of the K Ration, but they became part of the overseas packaging to help supplement the fiberboard boxes in late 1943 till the end of the war. The boxes were wrapped in an asphalt coated Kraft paper for waterproofing before being placed in the wooden crate.
These boxes are made with B Flute corrugated material, the same as during the war and have correct period printing.
The cardboard packing boxes will fit 36 correct sized K Ration meal cartons.
